What we collect, and why.

No account, no tracking pixel, no marketing list
You can build a full preview of your pack without giving us an email address. We never sell your data, we never share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
What you give us
The business details you type into the form — business name, tagline, contact name, phone, website, address, your packages and prices — plus a logo if you upload one. We use them for one thing: generating your documents.
Your email address
Collected only at checkout, and used only to send you your pack and to answer you if you write to us.
Payment details
Handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches Packsmith's systems and we never see it. We receive only your email address, the amount, and a reference for your order.
How long we keep things
The details behind a free preview are deleted automatically 24 hours after you build it. Records of an actual purchase are kept as long as we need them for accounting and to be able to re-send your pack.
Who else touches your data
Four companies, each doing one job:
- Stripe — takes the payment.
- Resend — sends you the email with your pack.
- Vercel — hosts the website, and provides anonymous, aggregate page analytics with no cookies and no cross-site tracking.
- Hetzner — runs the server in Germany that renders your documents.
Cookies
Packsmith sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page, which is on Stripe's domain and governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Your rights
Email hello@packsmithhq.com and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require a form or a reason, and we will do it within 30 days.
